But shoppers should ask themselves whether they really need those products, experts say, and people should not give in to the fear of missing out when it comes to sales.
The buzz of the festive season is just around the corner and with that comes alluring sales, year-end bonuses and shopping lists for Christmas and the new year ahead.
But the holiday period can also mean increased spending, busted budgets and regrettable purchases.
